Description
This two-day certification workshop is a great follow-on for the required Venomous Handling Essentials workshop or comparable coursework from another institution. We'll learn additional skills in the classroom that are required by most biologists and veterinarians, and then put those skills into practice by contributing to an ongoing conservation project in the field. By the time you are finished with this workshop, you'll be able to:
Discuss ethical constraints related to research and herping
Safely restrain venomous snakes for sample collection
Measure sex, weight, and length of venomous snakes
