Description
Wetlands directly support about 40% of the world's wildlife diversity, but are disappearing at an astonishing rate. More than 87% of global wetlands have disappearing, including about 50% in the United States. Understanding and appreciating the inhabitants of these ecosystems and how they respond to global change is a vital component of their conservation.
